Goodbye Edinburgh! :(

Well Today is Monday the 25th...this means that it is our last performance at C Venue in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and that we are leaving Edinburgh.  This is rather sad for the cast because we had such an amazing time here.  The festival was great...playing to sold out houses numerous nights...drinking in C Bar with our fellow C Venue memebers...the cast of Plague The Musical (who really have become great friends...we are going to miss them!...Thank God for Facebook! haha).


Well we are off to Birmingham, England for the week...and then back to the States next Sunday!

Performing for the US Consulate

This morning the cast had the privilege to perform for the US Consulate here in Edinburgh.  We got up bright and early and headed over to the theatre and us, along with a few other casts performed for them.  It was quite an honor.  We performed This Side of the Tracks.


Well it is a beautiful day here in Edinburgh (yahh! no rain!!) So we are going to get out and so some exploring...maybe even hike up to the top of Arthur's Seat!

It's been a while!

Hey ya'll!


So it has been a very busy week!  We have been out flyering and doing a bunch of events!  It has been a lot of fun!

Last week we filmed the opening number a bunch of times at C Venue for channel 3 news...it was a lot to do the number 3 times...but when we saw the news segment on tv last night, it all paid off...it was great!

Also, we had another Night at the Musicals last night.  This time Doreen (Betty), Carolyn (Lin), Caitlin (Pickles) and Amanda (Jeannie) performed a few numbers from the show, and also hosted the event!  They were quite hilarious!  The rest of the cast was in the audience cheering them on, it was a blast! Pictures definitely to come...

Well off to do some touristy stuff even if it is raining (which is does EVERYDAY in Edinburgh!)

Night at the Musicals and more!

Hey ya'll!


So last night right after the show, we had to immediately strike our set and get ready to do an event in our theatre called "Night at the Musicals" which was hosted by our very talented friends, the cast of "Plague: The Musical".  The show featured a few shows from our venue doing some numbers from their show. We were third in the line up and Sara Ruzicka (Pippi), Amanda Earls (Jeannie) and Kenneth D'Elia (Norbert) sang "But He's Mine/It's Never Easy".  The audience really seemed to enjoy it, and had nothing but compliments to give to the actors after the show.  

This morning we all got up to head to the Royal Mile and Scottish Monument to do some press.  "Hurricane Pippi" had come to town, and had take all of our garden ornaments and scattered them around the city!  The press showed up and took a bunch of pictures of us with garden gnomes, ducks, roosters, and anything else you can imagine...it drew quite a crowd! All in all it was a fun morning.

Well, off to go do some flyering...and hopefully performing to another sold out audience tonight!

Update from Edinburgh ya'll...we're selling out like hotcakes!!!!

Update: Hey ya'll...great news.  Our shows have been SELLING OUT!!!! Last night, Sunday, we took part in a press event here called "Chillax" (you know, like relax...), where we performed four numbers from our show, "T.V. show", "But He's Mine", "Owner of my Heart", and "Make Like a Nail".  We also walked in the Calvacade (Parade), which was such an amazing time.  Tonight, Monday we will be performing "But He's Mine" at "Night at the Musicals" at the C Venue on Chambers street, which next week we'll be hosting that event, so get excited!  Much love to everyone, thanks for the support, and we hope to see you soon at the Trailer Park.  Smell ya later!! xoxo

We're still holding out for a Hero!

Hey again!


Back to the Royal Mile we go!  Well actually not really the Royal Mile...but the areas around it doing something that we all love to do...FLYERING! Luckily the rain has held out, time to get some butts in those seats at C Venue!

The show last night was amazing! It was a decent size house...and they were definitely into it, they had us laughing from just listening to them laugh, it was awesome!  They even gave us a standing ovation when the curtain call started, it was truly something wonderful.  And what a great night for it to happen, The Scotsman reviewer had snuck in without us knowing to review the show.  We woke up this morning to a great review in the paper, giving us 4 out of 5 stars, and nothing but great compliments about the show, the cast and the overall production.

Last night after the show, a few of the cast members decided to get a few drinks, and we stumbled across the cast members of "Plague: The Musical" who is also performing at C Venue.  We had a great night bopping around from pub to pub with them...beer, americans and some brits...need I say more? FUN!

Trailer Park in Edinburgh, Scotland!

Hey ya'll!

We are FINALLY in Scotland at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! We have been performing for a few nights now, and the audiences really seem to enjoy the show. The entire cast and production team has really enjoyed being here so far (besides the mile walk the boys have to theatre everyday...but hey...it's exercise!). The landscape is gorgeous...and the pubs aren't too bad looking either! ;)

We are only in previews so there aren't many reviews out yet...but the talking has started...and we are definitely making a big splash so far!
